Ted Waldron
Ted Waldron, age 40, has served as President of the North Shore Advisory Group, Inc since August 2002. Mr. Waldron entered the securities industry February 1992 as a registered representative for American Express in Boston. Mr. Waldron holds various licenses including series 7, 63, 65, life accident and health. He is licensed in the following states, MA, ME, NH, VT, NJ, FL, MD, VA, MI. Mr. Waldron currently clears through Investors Capital Corp, member NASD SIPC, 230 Broadway, Lynnfield Ma 01940.
Mr. Waldron has been a member of the Diamond Achievers each of the last 6 years with Investors Capital. Mr. Waldron has been a public speaker at numerous workshops for 14 years. The North Shore Advisory Group has extensive experience in helping clients with 1031 exchanges. The firm works closely with CPA’s, attorneys, and qualified intermediaries. Mr Waldron is a member of NAIFA Boston chapter, and the Million Dollar Round Table, Court of the Table.
Mr. Waldron resides in Newbury MA, is a licensed private pilot, and member of the AOPA. Mr. Waldron has traveled extensively for alpine sports, and scuba diving.
Leroy E. Tirrell, CPA, PFS
Leroy E. Tirrell has worked as a CPA in various capacities since 1963. After graduating from Bentley School of Accounting and Finance, Lee served in the Army Finance Corp for three years and was honorably discharged with the rank of Sargeant. During his six years with Price Waterhouse & Co., Lee became a CPA in 1963. He then was Vice President, Manager of Internal Audit for American Mutual Liability Insurance Company for sixteen years. In 1982, he went into his tax practice on a full-time basis providing tax planning strategies and financial planning for individual and business clients.
Lee graduated from Bentley College where he has received his Bachelor in Accounting and Master in Taxation degrees. He also completed the intensive Northeastern University Management Development Program. Lee has earned the Personal Financial Specialist designation from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He is a member of the AICPA, the Massachusetts Society of CPAs and the National Society of Accountants. Lee was President of the New England Chapter of Internal Auditors. An active layman and member of the choir at the United Church of Christ, Congregational in Burlington, Lee also served as chairperson of the board of directors of the Massachusetts Conference of the UCC. He has served on the Conference’s Planned Giving Committee.
Susan Silvia – Accounting Manager
Susan Silvia earned her Bachelors degree in Accounting from Northeastern University in 1987. She has worked with Lee since 1983. Susan works with businesses to help them organize their company books, sets up accounting software programs; such as Quickbooks and does software training. She also prepares company work papers, financial statements and corporate tax returns. Susan also assists with the preparation of individual tax returns.
Diane Hynes – Office Manager
Diane Hynes earned her Associates degree from Mass Bay Community College in 1985. Diane’s role as Office Manager since 1986 provides clients with consistency and confidence in managing their tax circumstances. Her friendly demeanor puts clients at ease and gives them assurance that we will help get their issues resolved. In addition to her functions within the organization, she is also a Notary Public.
